A Hint of Christmas, Window Display

The client felt it a little early for full Christmas decorations. We went with a soft sell option reusing the previous display's background, less decorations and quieter colours, less sparkle.

Handmade Heidi Haus clocks and silver swans evoke a fairytale, European Christmas.


A wreath of bells frames a traditional, weight-driven cuckoo clock while christmas decor stars and a bauble become display props for pocket watches.

While the clients does sell goods his main business is in service; repair and replacement of parts.

The client had previously employed a professional sign writer. Although the sign writer has long since passed away his craftmanship still holds strong today.

Dali inspired, timepieces display

Due to the current Dali exhibition on at the National Gallery of Victoria, a Dali twist was used in this display, sans drooping timepieces. A blue backdrop and driftwood on wooden boards create the stark dry landscape with azure sky, while a prop ant and grasshopper - signature Dali insects - provide a hint of the surreal.
